We're excited to announce that KubeJam is coming to Atlanta this November during KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2025. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 12 as we turn Apache XLR into the cloud native community's favorite after-hours experience.
If you've been to a KubeJam before, you know what to expect. If this is your first time, get ready for something completely different from the typical conference afterparty.
What is KubeJam?
KubeJam isn't your typical vendor event. There are no sales pitches, no product demos, and no awkward booth conversations. Instead, it's a community-driven celebration that brings together developers, engineers, maintainers, and cloud-native enthusiasts for an evening centered around what really matters: genuine human connection, creativity, and yes, live music.
The magic of KubeJam is in its spontaneity. There's no set lineup of musicians, no strict playlist, and no rules. Community members step on stage unprompted, grab an instrument, and collaborate with complete strangers in real-time. It's about learning to jam together on the fly, creating something unique in the moment. You might find yourself sharing the stage with a Kubernetes maintainer you've only known through GitHub, or discovering that the SRE you've been troubleshooting with is an incredible guitarist.
After spending days navigating packed conference halls and back-to-back sessions, KubeJam offers something different. It's a space where you can actually relax, meet the people behind the GitHub handles and Slack usernames, and maybe even discover your own hidden musical talents.
Why KubeJam Matters to Us
At Testkube, we believe that the strongest communities are built on authentic relationships, not just professional transactions. KubeJam embodies this philosophy. It's our way of giving back to the ecosystem that has given us so much, and creating the kind of event we'd actually want to attend ourselves.
Community-First, Always
KubeJam is made possible by amazing partners who believe in building community the right way. This year, we're especially excited to celebrate with Google as they mark the 10-year anniversary of GKE.
An Evening of Music and Connection
Here's what to expect:
- Live Jam Session: Instruments provided, talent optional. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just want to make some noise, everyone's invited to join the collaborative jam session. If performing isn't your thing, grab a drink and enjoy the show.
- Food & Drinks: Open bar and a Southern-style buffet that celebrates Atlanta's culinary culture.
- Real Networking: No booths, no sales pitches. Just genuine conversations with community members in a relaxed atmosphere. This is where the best connections happen.
- The Venue: We're taking over Apache XLR, Atlanta's renowned slam poetry and event space, for a full venue buyout. It's the perfect setting for creativity and community.
