Testkube has raised $8 million in Series A funding, led by existing investors Ratmir Timashev, co-founder of Veeam Software, and global software investor Insight Partners. This capital will accelerate our mission of  that automated testing matches the velocity AI and cloud native applications are bringing to software development.

Traditional testing and CI/CD tools weren't built for this new reality of AI-driven, cloud-native development at scale. The result? Teams are caught between the promise of AI-accelerated development and the risk of shipping untested, unreliable software.

This funding round marks one of the first times tech investors are explicitly backing the thesis that as AI transforms development speed, testing infrastructure must evolve to match that pace. Seed investors who backed Testkube's vision at inception formally participated in this round, reinforcing their early conviction in the company's approach.

With Testkube, companies can synchronize all of their testing tools and strategies directly into Kubernetes-native workflows. Whether it's API testing, End-to-End, load testing, security testing, or AI-behavior testing, teams get continuous testing at scale with full visibility and control across environments, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.

What makes Testkube different is that it leverages cloud-native technologies to orchestrate any testing tool or framework into scalable, optimized workflows. Teams don't have to abandon their existing tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, k6, or Postman. Instead, we make them work better together in heterogeneous, parallelized testing environments.

Testkube started as an open-source project solving a real problem: making it less of a headache to run all kinds of tests while leveraging existing infrastructure. Since then, we've grown into a full enterprise platform that has powered over 100 million automated tests for organizations across every industry.

Our customers span from fast-growing startups to enterprises like Cloudflare, Siemens, Adobe, and Volvo. When AI changes the tempo of software creation, every industry feels the pressure to maintain quality at speed.

"Cloud-native development and AI have changed the tempo of software creation," said Mike Triplett, Managing Director at Insight Partners. "Testkube is addressing the next big bottleneck, helping ensure that testing keeps up with AI's acceleration."

Testkube is integrating AI deep into their platform for use cases like intelligent test orchestration (deciding on which tests to run when), automated remediation (suggesting fixes for failed tests), and adaptive performance testing (adjusting load configurations based on desired and actual outcomes)

As our CTO and co-founder Ole Lensmar puts it: "AI doesn't just change what we build – it changes how we build. Development is becoming more autonomous, code is being generated by machines, and decisions are happening faster than humans can follow. That makes continuous testing the ultimate safety net. Testkube is the layer that can help ensure every change, human or AI-generated, is tested before it reaches production."

Founded in 2023 as a spin-off from Kubeshop, we're focused on solving the challenges teams face when scaling software test automation. With this new funding, we'll continue expanding the Testkube platform, grow our team, and help more organizations ensure their AI-driven development gains don't come at the cost of reliability.

To our customers, investors, and team: thank you for believing in this vision. We're just getting started.
